Don't blame it on the rain!

After a few days with beautiful blue skies with very little clouds and a nice 84°F winter breeze we decided to wash our daily driver car. All of the sudden dark clouds started moving west and drops started falling. Initially we got a mad but then we remembered that we are in Puerto Rico and it can rain any day of the year.

That's right. Even when it is more likely to get rain in certain places of the island or at certain times more than others it can still rain any day of the year. If you are planning an open air ceremony, cocktail or reception make sure you plan accordingly so that any delays or change in plans are not blamed on the rain.

Many vendor will require a covered area for their set up. Be sure to ask during your consultations and planning meetings and have a plan in place, whether it be umbrellas for everyone or a covered area nearby. More importantly don't let rain make you forget the most important reason of the day, two becoming one.
